摘要 | Infrared focal plane arrays (IRFPA) with large size and high quantum efficiency are difficult to acquire for the reason of military application and high price, which seriously restrains the development of infrared solar observation in China. Under the circumstance, it is necessary to search for the acquirable IRFPA and study the method and technology of the possible solar infrared observation. Although the interest in PtSi IRFPA has waned due to its low quantum efficiency compared with InSb and HgCdTe arrays, it is has a potential in observing brighter celestial objects. We explored the possibility of applying it to observations in the infrared solar spectrum with our solar spectrograph. In this paper the methods for the simulation and calibration of our observation are discussed in detail. By using this kind of camera, a new observational band at FeI 1.56 mum is added to the Two-Dimensional Multiband Solar Spectrograph at Yunnan Observatory. The dispersion for FeI 1.56 mum of the new infrared solar spectrograph is 0.0722 Angstrom per pixel with a spatial scale of 0.51 arcsec per pixel along the slit. This line is suitable for 2D spectroscopic observation of the deepest solar photosphere. Some primary observation results are presented. |
