The one-meter infrared solar telescope is the only horizon vacuum solar telescope at home and abroad, the science case is fine spectrum analysis and spatial-temporal fine structure study of the solar activity region magnetic field. As is well known, we should always pay attention to the change of the weather in our daily observation, because the weather will affect the image of the telescope directly. For this reason, we need to design a weather station for monitoring the change of the weather; meanwhile, the telescope’s maintenance staffs can also response to the weather change as soon as possible. In this thesis, a design method of network weather station which based on embedded internet technology was introduced. The hardware is designed by LPC2103 which is based on ARM7-core and a single network controller ENC28J60. The characteristic and key technology of the TCP/IP architecture was deeply researched and analyzed. Then a light TCP/IP stack was designed, compared with the traditional TCP/IP protocol, this stack is simpler but the function is perfect. After that, the stack was migrated into the hardware platform in order to implement network communication. Finally, host computer software based on Winsock was designed in order to achieve remote data. The test result showed the feasibility of the research.
