摘要 | The periodic analyses of solar flare activity have been carried out by different authors for about 30 years. In this study we used two new methods to investigate the periodic behavior of solar flare activity separately for the total disk, and the northern and southern hemispheres of the Sun. Solar flare activity can be decomposed into three components: the first is the rotation signal which is understood to be mainly caused by large magnetic structure; the second is an annual-variation and quasi-biennial oscillation signal, however, the origin of which is not known up to now; the third is the inter-solar-cycle signal which is inferred to be caused by emergence of magnetic field at active regions within the photosphere. |
