摘要 | Pixel level displacement measurement is the first stage of Coarse-to-Fine approach in high-accuracy image registration. However, the measurement accuracies of well-known techniques drop sharply with increasing of the image noise. We present a noise-insensitive pixel level registration algorithm, which is based on estimating the centroid of cross correlation surface with modified moment method, for low quality images. The experiment of eight standard testing images shows that our proposed algorithm could decrease the minimum requirement of PSNR for pixel level registration, and determine some image displacements which might not be handled by traditional methods. |
